*St. Peter's Basilica is a holy and sacred place and the Catholic church reserves the right to close the Basilica with little to no notice for religious events. In this case the tour will conclude with an introduction of the Basilica from the outside.
The Basilica will often close around big events such as Christmas, Easter, Feast of Peter & Paul, etc.
*5:00pm & 7:30pm start times - When touring with a meeting time later than 3:00pm, St. Peter's Basilica is not included in the tour. Although the the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel will be open, the Basilica closes much earlier. In this case we suggest visiting the Basilica before meeting for the tour.
